DESCRIPTION

3M Xtract™ Cubitron™ II Disc 775L features a 3M proprietary multi-hole pattern for improved dust extraction in finishing applications. Part of the 3M Xtract™ Series, designed for optimal dust removal. An innovative multi-hole pattern extracts dust better than 5- or 6-hole products — increasing cut and dramatically increasing disc life. The design does not need to align with the disc pad holes, making switching the discs fast, easy and convenient. Featuring ceramic 3M Precision-Shaped Grain, a revolutionary advancement in abrasive technology. The triangular shaped ceramic mineral is designed to slice through the substrate, rather than gouging or “plowing” like conventional abrasives, resulting in a disc that cuts up to 2x as fast as conventional abrasives. The film backing delivers outstanding tear resistance, flexibility and a consistent, uniform finish on a variety of substrates.

3M Xtract™ Cubitron™ II Film Disc 775L features 3M Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain, a revolutionary advancement in abrasive technology now available to grade 1000+. The triangular shaped ceramic mineral is designed to slice through the substrate, rather than gouging or “plowing” like conventional abrasives, resulting in a disc that cuts up to 2x as fast and lasts up to 6x as long as conventional abrasives without compromising finish. These discs are now available with an extended grade range up to 1000+, making them ideal for a broad spectrum of applications, from aggressive stock removal to fine finishing. Effective on a wide variety of substrates, including all metals, composites, wood, paints, primers, and other coatings. Sandpaper discs perform better and last longer when dust is minimized on the abrasive surface. The 3M Xtract™ Series features a proprietary multi-hole pattern that enhances dust extraction, outperforming traditional 5- or 6-hole designs. This innovative pattern allows for quick disc changes without needing hole alignment with the disc pad. For optimal dust removal, pair the disc with a 3M Xtract™ Back-up pad and 3M Xtract™ Random Orbital Sander with vacuum (both sold separately). The durable film backing offers greater tear resistance than paper discs, ensuring additional durability and edge retention for both wet and dry applications. Our complete line of 3M™ Hookit™ discs is perfect for environments where adhesive-backed discs may become contaminated by dust or dirt. Hookit discs are less aggressive than 3M™ Stikit™ discs, making them ideal for achieving finer finishes. Hookit sanding discs attach easily to a hook-and-loop backup pad, can be removed cleanly, and reused throughout the abrasive's life, enhancing cost-effectiveness and convenience.
