Scotch® High-Temperature Masking Tape 213 is a very high-temperature resistant tape for use in masking and holding applications. This tape is generally the most transfer-resistant adhesive of all the 3M™ paper tapes, as the firm adhesive does not anchor itself as softer adhesives often do. Scotch® High-Temperature Masking Tape 213 is highly cured rubber adhesive for excellent high-temperature holding and adhesive transfer resistance to keep edge lifting minimized to help reduce rework and labour. It features specially treated crepe paper backing that is sliver resistant, conformable, easy to tear, and solvent and moisture resistant. It is designed for indoor use only as it should not be subjected to outdoor exposure. It is ideal for use on aluminum anodized surfaces.

As a professional grade masking tape, it has the benefit of paint flake resistance that reduces contamination and potential rework, resulting in a professional paint job. This tape can be certified to ASTM D-6123 (replaces obsolete PPP-T-42C, Type I, (CID-A-A-883B)).

What is masking tape?
