The Air Systems BB100-CO8 standard grade-D, breathing-air filtration system is a portable source of breathing air for up to four workers in environments where the air quality has been compromised, and has a 100 cubic feet per minute (cfm) CO monitor with 123 cfm flow capacity. Four respirator couplings on the unit have safety locks to secure the breathing hoses (not included) to the filtration unit. Air is moved into the unit by a compressor (not included), where it is filtered in three stages to provide grade-D quality air as specified by ANSI/Compressed Gas Association (CGA) air quality standards. Through three filtration stages, the unit removes approximately 99.99% of airborne contaminants down to 0.01 micron. The first stage removes bulk liquid and particulate matter; the second stage removes oil and ultra-fine particulates; and the third stage eliminates organic vapor and odor. Each filter indicates when it needs to be replaced. The first- and second-stage filters automatically drain. The third-stage filter requires manual draining.
