Lockout devices control energy sources and ensure machine and equipment remain inoperable to prevent unexpected start-up or release of stored energy in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 requirements. The STOPOUT® StopPlug™ multi-plug lockout prevents unauthorized, accidental plug-in of a power cord leading to equipment and machinery. Simply insert the electrical cord through the side opening of the StopPlug™, line up the lockhole tabs and lock out with padlock and lockout tag (sold separately). It fits most 110, 220, 550 or 600 VAC plugs and includes "DANGER LOCKED OUT" labels (English, Spanish and French) with space to write more information as needed. The tamper-resistant case is a red octagon shape that reinforces lockout status and conveys STOP. The all plastic construction is dielectric, RoHS compliant and resists temperature variations.
