Mallory has started a programme of website update and modification which has started with the reorganisation of the Homepage .

We are pleased to tell you of our office expansion, whilst , at the same time, apologising for any problems you may have had contacting us over the last week or so during the installation of our new telephone exchange .

Tungsten raw material prices have almost tripled internationally over the past year or so, as indicated in the attached graph .

Demand for this element currently remains unstable, thus careful planning is being required to maintain supplies and minimise product price changes .
Mallory has operated a stable pricing policy during this difficult period but is having to keep the situation under regular review as the raw material market develops.

Mallory Office Move

We have just moved offices within St.Albans to allow us to keep a buffer stock of Mallory/Elkanite copper and tungsten alloys close to hand . This unfortunately means an address/telephone number change, although the old numbers will work for a short time .

Heavy Alloys - New Developments

The Mallory Alloys Group, continually striving to meet customer's new requirements, is complementing its current range by offering two new alloyes and larger size plates.

New alloys
Mallory 5000 - 90%W - 10% Ni Fe Co
Mallory 5950 - 95% W - 5% Ni Fe Co

These alloys are harder, as well as easier to machine, than the existing standard materials.

New sizes

Larger sizes are now available - typical example 350 x 180 x 20 mm.
